What is A4D?
A4D is a GUI tool for unlocking, updating, restoring, flashing of Android devices that uses ADB / Fastboot Commands. It was created so that average person can use the tools to gain root access into the Android devices in order to get any of the custom created ROMs, updates, or themes.
Why should I root my phone?
Although rooting your Android device is not a dangerous thing, a number of things you can do with a rooted devices can be. And such, rooting, and unlocking the bootloader can and may void your warranty. The reason why people root the Android device can vary from person to person. With a rooted phone, you have a posibility to updating bug fixes, tweaking your phone for optimum preformance, getting the latest kernel for the Android sytem and more. It is common knowledge that sometimes, Google will update a software version while the device maker may not send out an update (sometimes making you get a newer device). With a rooted Android device, you can get an update. There are many ROM (custom operating system) developers for Android devices and they are constantly creating ROMs that works on many Android platforms with the latest updates from Google (and sometimes custom tweaks to enable longer battery life or better viewing of the device, or enabling some bug fixes that a carrier may not update).
How can I update my phone?
That part is easy.
Download the Desktop utility and follow instructions on the Utility. We will be posting step by step instructions on how to root your device under the tutorial section (or search for "rooting" and make and model of your phone). If your device is not listed, please email us and we will update our instructions on how to root a particular device. We will also your device to the list of supported device once we updated our instructions on our website.
Can you gurantee anything?
Like we mentioned earlier, rooting a device can and may void warranty. We take no responsibility for loss of sleep, loss of phone or screw ups on our side (due to A4D) or on your side (due to lack of ability to follow instructions).
